Labor Cottage

We're only doing a short visit to the cottage this year, but we're managing to cram in lots of fun. Love having perfect summer beach weather, swimming, walks on the beach, and campfire fun.

Tractor #2

And we are now the proud owners of another tractor...

New box...

The electrical box is installed....whoo hoo.














The garden is really coming along. I think we need a bigger space next year; it's starting to bust our of it's cage!

A blade...

Apparently Mike wants to play in the dirt....or push it around.

Diggin'

The digging has started...to bury the power line. I would have brought the girls upstairs a couple of hours ago if I would have known that they would be so fascinated. I might have to hire the crew to provide further babysitting in the future!

4th of July

We had a great day of 4th of July fun. Breakfast at French Laundry, followed by the Fenton Parade.
Girls enjoyed catching candy, and had lots of opportunities to cover their ears for loud trucks, motorcycles, and fire engines. We caught up with Mike and Lori with dinner and then for the Fowlerville fireworks.

Nephew!

Torsten arrived on July 2nd. He's the cutest little guy. We're so happy for Baird & Amy, and can't wait to meet our nephew.

11 years fly by...

We celebrated our 11th anniversary with another stop at the Kalamazoo House B&B, and then ran out to Lake Michigan for a rain visit. Nice to have a little time to ourselves, and we had a fantastic dinner at the tapas place, Fandango, in downtown K'zoo.
