Happy 3rd Birthday!

Celebrated Jane's birthday last night at Red Robin with Grandpa Ron, and rest of the family today at Gram D's house. She was fairly surprised and had a blast running around with Averie, opening presents, and eating her frog cake. Hard to believe that it's been 3 years already, probably will continue to say that every year.

Thump!

Baby is definitely growing. Been trying to push/eat/elbow it's way out my side, and just got some big bumps and thumps. Jane is pretty enamored of the baby concept, says she loves the baby and that she's going to tickle it and make it giggle. Starting to pick up books at the library about getting a new baby, she loves the one we got yesterday.

Got my new camera yesterday (my b-day gift), hoping to play with it a little more today, but did really good in our living room last night, which is not a good location for light, especially in the evening.

40 degrees. Feels like a summer day, well, at least it's a wonderful break from the really cold weather we've been having. Nice to start having these warm ups, feels like spring might come yet. Going to drop again, but I'll take this for now. Jane will be 3 tomorrow--crazy!

On the move

Baby is officially all over the place. We can see movement occasionally, and definitely feel it. Lots of rolling and thumping, and feels much bigger.

Had a midwife appt earlier this week and everything looks good. Two weeks til next appt, can't believe that it's already getting to that stage, seems like it's still a long ways to go.

Blood work I had done last week came back good-no gestational diabetes and good iron levels. Nice to hear.

If we don't get too much of a blizzard tomorrow, off to do some shopping and scrapbooking sans Jane with Gwyn.

Really looking forward to warmer weather!

Storytime Valentines

We had our valentines celebration during storytime at Cromaine today. Jane was super excited as most of the kids were. Amazing-we got most of them to sit and look in the same general direction for a group photo...even with the huge temptation of their filled bags!

Too much excitement last week-Mike was in Mexico and a water pipe on the baseboard heat broke upstairs...poured into the kitchen. Dealt with getting that cleaned up and insurance, etc. Big step back as half the kitchen ceiling is back to studs, but hoping to get that fixed soon.

Coming out of colds here-at least Mike and Jane seem to be doing better. Crossing my fingers that I've avoided this one. Off to Port Huron this weekend.

Had a nice break in the winter weather, but I think it kind of makes it that much more depressing that we've still got weeks and weeks of cold to get through before it's gone for good. It was really nice to get outdoors without having to spend 15 minutes bundling up first.
